How to Activate BOI Net Banking Online - Bank of India

Bank of India is a government owned nationalised commercial bank in India. It has its branches in all major countries in the world. The bank endeavors to make banking a pleasant activity and that’s why it offers many time saving and convenient banking facilities to its customers. BOI net banking service makes banking easier for its customers. Customers can perform a number of transactional and non-transactional activities with this fabulous service.
Now BOI customers can activate net banking facility of the bank without visiting their home bank branches. After filling out an online registration form the facility will be activated on your account. Scroll down to know how to activate BOI net banking online.

Before proceeding, you should have following things:

  1. BOI Account Number
  2. BOI ATM Card
  3. Registered Mobile Number (Linked with the account)

Steps to Activate Bank of India Internet Banking Online-

Step 1: Visit Bank of India website and from the sidebar click on retail (orange color link), you can find that link under internet banking. Or directly visit BOI internet banking website by searching on Google.
Step 2: From BOI online banking homepage, click on “New User” button.
Step 3: Enter your bank account number and registered mobile number. After entering captcha text, click on continue.
Note: Prefix country code to your mobile number without sign(+) e.g.- 9199*******33 not
Step 4: In the next step, you will be asked to enter one time password (OTP) that you will receive on your registered mobile number. Just enter OTP received on your mobile and then press continue.
Step 5: In the next page, you’ll have to enter your ATM card details. After entering your Debit-cum-ATM card credentials, hit continue button.
Step 6: Read and accept terms and conditions of using e-banking facility of the bank. Click on check-box “I agree to the above mentioned Agreement-cum-Indemnity” then press accept to proceed.
Step 7: In the next page, you will be asked to enter a password for your internet banking. Simply create a password containing special characters, alphabets, and numbers e.g.-@a2ab_12Z, and click on continue.
Step 8: Upon clicking on continue, following pop-up message will appear on your computer screen “Your request to create Internet Banking User ID is successful.” Click on "OK" and then note down your reference number, customer id, and login user id.
Important! Note down all details before pressing any key.
Step 9: That’s it! This service takes one working day to activate. You would be able to access your account after 1 working day.
