Check Your IDBI Bank Account Balance through Missed Call

Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) is a government-owned bank of India. The bank offers a large range of products from saving and current bank account to loans for various purposes such as; loan for small to medium business, loan to purchase a house or property etc. IDBI bank has digitized its all branches for excellent customer service; it offers many online banking and tele-banking solutions to provide high quality banking services. The bank has recently launched ‘Toll Free Banking’ service; that allows customers to obtain their account information (account balance, mini statement etc) by simply giving a missed call to a toll-free number.

IDBI bank has pre-activated toll free banking service for the customers who have single operative account. If your mobile number is registered with multiple customer accounts then you need to follow an easy registration process (discussed below). Currently, this service is offered free of charge by the bank. To avail this service, customer’s mobile number should be registered with his/her bank account.

If your mobile number is linked with a single operative account then just give a missed call to ‘1800-843-1122’ from your registered mobile number; in a few seconds, you’ll get available balance details by an SMS. To get mini statement for last 5 transactions, give a missed call to 1800-843-1133; instantly, you’ll receive an SMS indicating your last 5 transactions details.

Note: Standard SMS charges may be applicable as per your SMS billing plan (from telecom service provider).

In a short while, you will receive a text message telling you that toll free banking service has been successfully activated on your mobile or there is any problem with activation. If you get successful activation message then use following number to perform a banking activity:

For Balance Enquiry give a missed call to 1800-843-1122
For Mini Statement give a missed call to 1800-843-1133

You can de-register from the Toll Free Banking facility by sending an SMS in following format “DEL(space)Account Number to 5676777 or 9820346920/9821043718” .
