How to Check DCB Bank Account Balance Through Missed Call or SMS

DCB bank is one of the emerging banks in India. It is a commercial bank that provides services like; House loan, loan for small or medium business, mortgage lending, auto loan, loan against gold, agriculture loan, and investment services like saving accounts etc. It has a quite good network of branches in India to provide satisfactory services to its customers. Apart of all, it is a bank that offers cash back and personalized account numbers. The bank provides fascinating online services to provide hassle free banking experience. Services like; internet banking, mobile banking, mobile passbook, SMS facility, email statement, pay direct tax etc help customers to operate their account directly from their houses. Recently, it has launched another service called missed call banking for its customers. With this service, customers can check their account balance by giving a missed call on designated numbers. Furthermore, this service can also be used to request for a cheque book, mini-statement, or email statement. 

Currently, this service is available free of charge and customers who have registered their mobile numbers with their home bank branches can avail this service. Here are some restrictions of this service:
  • This service is only for the customers who have registered their mobile number with their home bank branches.
  • There is a restriction of maximum 5 balance requests in one day.
  • Cheque book request will be processed for primary account only.
  • There is a restriction of maximum 7 email statement requests in one month.
  • If you have multiple customer IDs then DCB will consider your older ID to fetch all details.
Please Note: This service only can be activated for the mobile number that is registered with your bank account number. Therefore, if you have not registered/linked your mobile number with your respective bank branch then before following these steps go to your home bank branch and link your mobile number with your account.
