How To Get An Email Account To Send And Receive Emails

Having an email address is very much essential in today’s world. Email (Electronic Mail) is way of communication through internet. It is used to exchange information through internet like; digital messages, documents, photos and important data. Furthermore, many applications and mobile phones required an email address. Currently, there are many email service provider available on internet, from whom, you can get a free as well as a paid email account. In this post, we will show you both methods (Free and Paid) to create an email address. Firstly, you should know that difference between Free and Paid email account:

Free Email Account-

Most of the people use free email accounts. If you are an individual who just wants an email address to send and receive simple files/data then free email service would be best for you. Usually, free email accounts give 10GB free space, in which you can store your important data and family pictures, videos etc. In free email accounts, you do not have an option to add sub domain of your choice. For example; if you create a free email address on gmail then you email address will be abc@gmail.com or if you create a free email account on yahoo mail then you email address will be abc@yahoo.com, while in paid/business email account, you can choose sub domain of your choice like my email address; mail@maapsworld.com. That is the major difference between paid and free email account.

Paid Email Account- 

Usually, companies, brands use paid/business email accounts. If you are a businessman then paid email service would be better for you. A business email address gives you a brand name . You can use your company’s name as sub domain of your email address. Business email accounts offer more security than free email address. You get many advanced features in paid email accounts like; auto reply, spam security etc. Paid email accounts are available at very cheap rates so you must buy a paid email account.

Now, you know the difference between a paid and free email account. It’s time to make a choice that you want a free email account or paid. After making a choice, follow steps given below to set up an email account.

STEPS TO SET UP A FREE EMAIL ACCOUNT


There are many free email service provider available and all are the best. Therefore, It’s totally up to you with whom you want to set up an email account. In this tutorial, we will explain how to create free email account on
  • Google Gmail
  • Yahoo Mail
  • Outlook

Gmail E-Mail Account-

It is owned by Google. The design of gmail is very simple and advanced. Any user can use it readily. You can access all services offered by Google with a single gmail account. To create an email account on gamil, follow steps given below:
Step 1: Go to www.gmail.com and then click on Create an account.(See screenshot)

Step 2: Now, enter your name and thereafter enter an email address for your account. See that email address is available or not. If there is showing that Someone already has that username. Try another?  Then add more text to your email address or enter another name and see availability.



Step 3: Enter a password and then re-confirm your password. Subsequently, enter your DOB, Gender and Phone number. If you have an alternate email address then enter that in current email address otherwise, leave it blank. (See Screenshot in step 4)

 Step 4: Read terms and conditions of using gmail (Optional) and click on Next Step.

Step 5: Click on continue to Gmail.




Congratulations! You have successfully created an email account on gmail.

Outlook email account-

Outlook is a free email service run by Microsoft. To create email account on outlook follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to www.live.com and then click on Sign up now.


Step 2: Enter your name and then click on get a new email address (See Screenshot). 

Thereafter, enter an email address for your account and select sub domain (outlook.com/hotmail.com) for your email address.


Step 3: Fill up all necessary information in the form and then enter your phone number. Enter text shown in the image for verification and click on Create an account.



 Step 4: Congratulations! Your account has been created. Now to send or receive email use your email address.

Yahoo E-Mail Account-

To create an account on yahoo mail follow these steps:

Step1: Go to mail.yahoo.com and then click on Create account.

Step 2: After entering your name in the name field, enter an email address and see availability. If email address entered by you is not available then add more text to your email address otherwise proceed to next step.


Step 3: Verify that you are a human by entering text shown in the image.

Step 4: Congratulations! You account has been created. Now to send or receive emails use your email address.

STEPS TO CREATE A PAID/BUSINESS EMAIL ACCOUNT


To buy a paid/business email service, you have vast range of options and plans. Usually, business email accounts available at the rate of less than $1 per month but it depends upon your requirements. To buy a business email, Firstly, look at your requirements for example;
·         How much space you need for your email account in GB (Gigabyte) ?
·         How many email addresses you want?(Different plans are available if you want more than one email address)
·         How many emails you want to send/receive daily?

Secondly, It is a very crucial step, in this step you have to select a service provider to buy an email account. To find best email service provider follow these steps:

  • Firstly, read reviews of email service providers. Do not fall in fake reviews explore more review websites to get accurate results. Use Google answer and Yahoo answer to ask people.
  • Read refund policy carefully.( Incase, you do not like services offered by your service provider then you can leave him without any loss within refund period)
  • Read renewal charges of your email service.
  • Customer support should be good and quick.
  • An easy to use control panel.
